Why I Created Olivia's Pet Services
I understand just how difficult it can be, to find the time to walk your dog which is why I started my own dog walking company in Bromley. Owning a dog myself, I know just how important it is for pets to get regular exercise, but sometimes due to time constraints I had no means of walking my dog – but I also didn’t want just anyone to walk my pet.
Indeed, there are many dog walking companies out there, but there is no relationship created between the dog and walker. I wanted a personalised service, where I could trust the dog walker, knowing that my pet would always be in safe hands. Just like humans, it takes time to build up trust and a rapport, and it is no different with dogs. This led me to create my own dog walking company, run by me, and with only one employee, Andy, who I have known for over ten years. The difference with my company is that whatever the time or day, you know that your cherished pet will be in our capable hands.
About Me
Since I can remember, I have always loved animals. I have owned an assortment of pets since childhood: cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish and even a duck at one point! As an adult I became the primary carer for all of these little creatures, and at one point I was responsible for two cats and two dogs, so I know just what it takes to properly look after a number of animals. I really am an animal person, and I love walking dogs, playing with them and keeping them safe and warm. My furry friends have always been a priority of mine and I’ll treat yours as if they were my own.

My Experience
I have volunteered at two farms – Foal Farm and Second Chance Animal Rescue. At Foal Farm I looked after the cats, rabbits and dogs. At Second Chance Animal Rescue I looked after exotic animals, some of which included racoons, tanukis and meerkats. I have also done voluntary dog walking/pet sitting, so rest assured your pets will be in experienced hands. Whatever kind of pet that you have, you can be sure that I have the patience and understanding to keep them well and happy.

How many dogs do you walk at a time?
3-4 depending on the types of dogs and their temperaments.
Are you insured?
Yes. We have Public Liability Insurance. We will bring proof of this when we first meet.
Are my keys/security codes kept safe?
Yes. They are also insured.
Are you DBS checked?
Yes. We will bring proof of this when we first meet.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash and bank transfers.
Do I need to sign a contract?
Yes. It will be discussed during our first meet. It gives us permission to walk your dog, enter your home to pick up/drop your dog back and to pet sit in your own home. It also gives you a chance to agree to our terms and conditions.
What happens if the weather is bad?
We will walk your dog come rain or shine. However, in extreme cases, such as heavy snow, for the safety of myself and your beloved dogs we will not drive and will reluctantly have to cancel the walk.
What is your cancelation policy?
You are free to cancel up to 48 hours in advance without charge. If you cancel less than 48 hours in advance you will be charged the full amount of the service you required.
